An interview with Perk (that's us!)
What's one thing we should know about you?
We source and send coffee from some of the best roasters in Australia. It’s always freshly roasted, and it’s never the same coffee back-to-back each month. This month, we’re excited to share an extra-special edition of Perk with you. Roasted by us, just for you.
What excites you about coffee?
It’s how coffee can be both simple and complex. From the unique origins and growing conditions to the roasting and brewing, each step adds layers of flavour and story. No two cups are exactly the same, and discovering those subtle differences keeps the experience fresh and engaging.
If you could recommend one song to listen to while drinking your coffee, what would it be?
“Japanese Denim” by Daniel Caesar. It’s smooth and introspective. A perfect backdrop for a thoughtful coffee moment.

Helly R. from Severance. She’s bold and balanced, with strength softened by subtle complexity.
What's one interesting fact about where this coffee was grown?
‘Excelso’ is a Colombian coffee classification based on bean size. This grading system helps exporters sort beans for consistency. While the grade itself relates only to size, Excelso beans are typically grown at high altitudes in Colombia’s coffee regions, contributing to their density and flavor profile.
