An interview with Kmac from Floozy Coffee

What's one thing everyone should know about you?

We believe quality, ethical coffee should be readily available to everyone. We're about creating a space in the coffee world where information isn't gatekept, coffee orders are all considered equal and people are allowed to enjoy coffee in their own way :)

What excites you about coffee?

There are so many different coffees coming through our warehouse, we love the variety of flavours and getting the opportunity to taste coffee from heaps of producers. Coffee is often such a nice part of people's day, whether we're brewing it for them or they're brewing it at home it's a great feeling to be a positive part of people's lives.

If you could recommend one song to listen to while drinking your coffee, what would it be?

Dolly Parton 9 to 5 because it's the BEST karaoke song and will wake you up as much as a coffee does.

Sonia Imbachi

Where is this coffee from?
Huehuetenango, Guatemala: Los Capulines and Huila, Colombia: Los Idolos

What's your favourite thing about this coffee?
It shines through milk but still has a nice fruity quality and acidity that highlights the quality of the green.

Finca Buena Vista, San Agustin, Huila, Colombia

What's your favourite thing about this coffee?
This coffee is so sparkly and bright, it really showcases the type of coffee that we love: clean and sweet washed Colombian coffees.

What is one interesting fact about how or where this coffee was grown?
Sonia Imbachi's coffee was a milestone coffee for Floozy, after purchasing her coffee for a couple of years it became the first coffee that we were able to purchase in whole lots, forward contract and commit to a significant amount of. This is a huge part of what we believe to be ethical purchasing and so Sonia's coffee will always have a special place in our heart.

What fictional character does this coffee remind you of?Bubbles (Powerpuff Girls): such a bright energy, effervescent
